Arrival Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (150kms / 4-5 Hrs)
Arrival at Chennai Airport / Railway Station. The friendly city of Chennai is the gateway to the temple state of Tamil Nadu. Drive to the pilgrim city of Kanchipuram, also known as the town of a thousand temples. Here you'll visit the temples of Ekambaranathar, Kailasanatha, Varadharaja Perumal, and Kamakshi Amman. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silk saris, and you'll have a chance to visit the silk weavers and learn about the history of this colorful fabric, which is an essential part of a South Indian bride’s trousseau. Then continue to the Mahabalipuram – This 7th-century erstwhile port city of Mahabalipuram is famous for its historical stone carvings and rock-cut shore temples. Stop at the Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Krishna's Butterball, and the Five Rathas. Don't forget to leave time to enjoy the stunning views of the town and the sea from the lighthouse on the hill. Pondicherry – Chidambaram (70kms / 2 Hours)
Morning after breakfast drive to the Divine land of Chidambaram. Chidambaram is dedicated to Lord Nataraja – (God Siva in the form of a Cosmic Dancer – known as Shiva tandava). It is one of the few temples where Siva and Vishnu are enshrined under one roof. This ancient temple was built by the Cholas. It is devoted solely to the art of Bharatanatyam and is one of the rare temples where Shiva is represented by an idol rather than the customary Lingam. Spread over an area of 40 acres with a gopuram on each side, the temple is distinguished by five sabhas or courts. Chidambaram – Tanjavur – Trichy (190kms/5hrs)
Today after morning breakfast driver for Tanjavur. The ancient capital of the Chola empire, the town of Tanjore is known for the Brihadeeshwara Temple, an architectural masterpiece that you'll spend your day exploring. The temple is one of the tallest in the world and the world's first complete granite temple. Trichy Another ancient city, Tiruchirappalli (also known as Trichy) is famous for its ancient temples. Start by visiting the temples of Srirangam and Jambukeswarar. Then continue to another special place, the Rock Fort Temple complex, perched on a rock from where you can enjoy splendid views of the city and the Kaveri river. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to one of the oldest Indian cities, Madurai.
