Today morning after breakfast check out from Gwalior hotel and drive for Orchha. En-route visit to Jhansi - Nestled between the Betwa and Pahunj rivers, the historic city of Jhansi is synonymous with its courageous queen, Rani Lakshmibai, who valiantly fought against the British forces during the First War of Indian Independence in 1857. Visit to Jhansi Fort, Rani Mahal Jhansi, Jhansi Govt museum. Later continue drive for Orchha - Orchha is the only place in India other than Ayodhya, where lord Rama is also the King of the town. Beguiling temples, monuments lost in history and an abundance of folklore make Orchha a jewel in the crown of the state of Madhya Pradesh. This small, pastoral town is popularly known as Raja Ram's kingdom, maybe the only place in the country where Lord Rama is revered as a beloved king and not just a god. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples are famous for their nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. On arrival check in into hotel. Later proceed for visit to Khajuraho Temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Jain Temple Matangeshwar Temple, Varaha Temple, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Chausath Yogini Temple.
