Arrival Cochin

Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station. Kochi is famous for being known as 'the Queen of Arabian Sea' due to its splendid location near the Arabian sea flourishing its greeneries and natural beauties. Transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace and Antique shops. Overnight stay at hotel.

Cochin - Athirappilly - Munnar (200kms/ Approx. 6hrs)

Today morning check out from hotel and drive for Athirappilly - Athirapally waterfalls is a marvelous cascade of foamy waters that make their way from the Anamudi mountains of the Western Ghats in Kerala. Often called the "The Niagara of South India". It had served as the location of the mighty waterfall you see in the superhit Indian film Baahubali! Later continue drive for Munnar - This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar

Munnar

After breakfast visit to Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Tea Plantation and Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai). Echo Point is yet another picturesque spot that lies about 15 km from Munnar. As the name indicates, this place is famous for its natural echo phenomenon. It is a common sight to witness tourists standing on the bank of the scenic lake, shouting out and grinning in glee to hear their own voices bounce back!. Mattupetty dam is a concrete gravity dam and now a haven for many wild animals and birds thanks to the constant supply of water. Boating on the still waters of the lake is an ideal way to enjoy the surrounding tea gardens and wilderness. Eravikulam National Park - A former hunting preserve of the British planters, the Park today exemplifies wildlife at its best. It was declared a Sanctuary in 1975 with the intention of protecting the indigenous population of Nilgiri Tahr (highly endangered mountain goat). Overnight stay at Munnar.

Munnar – Thekkady (90kms/3hrs)

Morning after breakfast check out from Munnar hotel and proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady offer a chance to explore the quaint hill towns, hill slopes, spice, tea plantations, lake, wildlife sanctuaries cultural and adventure activities. Enroute visit to Spice Garden. On arrival check into hotel. Evening free for leisure or you can enjoy the Kathakali show, Kalari show, Kalaripayattu, Elephant Ride etc. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Thekkady

Today morning proceed for visit to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Later you can enjoy the Jungle Walk, Bamboo rafting etc. Overnight stay at hotel.

Thekkady – Alleppey / Kumarakom (125kms/4hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey / Kumarakom - It is known as a Venice of East. Alleppey offers you a splendid view of paddy fields and tiny hamlets in the lap of nature. Its narrow house-facing canals provide you with a unique opportunity to sneak into the life of the locals. Kumarakom is famous for its backwater tourism. It is set in the backdrop of the Vembanad Lake. By noon check in at the houseboat / hotel. Do a mind blowing cruise through the the legendary backwaters of Kerala. Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam (20kms One Way)

Morning after breakfast proceeds for a city tour of Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram is a major tourist centre, known for the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the beaches of Kovalam and Varkala, the backwaters of Poovar and Anchuthengu and its Western Ghats tracts of Ponmudi and the Agastya Mala. Visit to Napier Museum and Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Free time for shopping. Return back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at Kovalam hotel.

Kovalam - Kanyakumari (83kms/ 3hrs)

Today morning after breakfast check out from hotel and driver for Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is a small coastal town in Tamil Nadu, famous for its mountainous terrain, palm-fringed beaches, coconut-lined paddy fields, and iconic monuments. Earlier it was known as 'Cape Comorin' or 'The Land's End'. Kanyakumari is a paradise for nature lovers, history buffs, and peace seekers as it is home to some of the most beautiful waterfalls and ancient temples. Kanyakumari Departure

Today morning after breakfast check out from Kanyakumari hotel and transfer to Kanyakumari Railway Station Or Trivandrum Airport to board the flight / train for your onward destination.
